Marketplace Courses
Buy a course with live class lessons, book sessions with the teacher, and follow your enrollment timeline.
Some Marketplace listings sell a full course — not just a single self-study lesson. These courses can include class lessons (live sessions with a teacher), exercises, homework, and certificates. After purchase, you study inside the seller school's enrollment, not in My Library.
Personal self-study materials (single lessons you complete alone) are covered in Marketplace Self-Study. This page is for courses that include scheduled or bookable live class lessons.
Who this is for
Students buying a structured Marketplace course on locuto.pro that includes live teaching.
What this page answers
- What happens after I buy a Marketplace course?
- When can I book a class lesson with the teacher?
- How is booking different from rescheduling?
- Where do I see lessons that still need a time slot?
Prerequisites
- a student account on the primary Locuto.PRO domain (
locuto.pro) - personal AI credit or a supported payment method for the listing price
- the course listing is a course package (not personal self-study)
1. Find and buy the course
- Open Marketplace on
locuto.pro(or your school's public storefront). - Open a course listing. The redesigned course storefront includes:
- Hero Section: Course title, level tags (CEFR A1–C2), header wallpaper, and teacher introduction video.
- Sticky Navigation Bar: Easily jump between Overview, Curriculum, Teacher Profile, Pricing & Licenses, and FAQ.
- License Cards: Clearly display access duration, live lesson count, included AI credits or assessment attempts, and price.
- Curriculum Outline: View lesson modules, sample exercises, and prerequisites.
- Use Try Demo when available to preview interactive exercises or take a quick level check.
- Click Buy Now on your chosen license tier and confirm checkout.
The purchase is charged from your personal AI credit balance (or through the supported checkout flow shown on the listing).
Before checkout confirms, you are shown that the seller school is the merchant of record and handles refunds, and that Locuto.PRO processes the payment. Their refund window is shown when they have set one.
After payment succeeds, the platform creates an enrollment in the seller school. You do not need an invite code — the course appears automatically in My Enrollments and your Studies hub.
Until the enrollment is ready, the purchase shows a processing state, which survives a page reload. Both steps work the same way as for personal materials — see Before you pay and After you pay.
2. Open your enrollment timeline
- Open My Enrollments and select the purchased course.
- Or open the enrollment directly from Dashboard when a lesson card appears.
The enrollment page shows your full lesson timeline: class lessons, exercises, homework, and any certificate steps. A Marketplace badge confirms the enrollment came from a purchase.
Lessons may be locked or released depending on the course's Learning Path rules (all at once, by date, after previous, or manual release). See Lessons & Homework → Locked Lessons for how unlock hints work.
3. Book a class lesson (first time)
Class lessons in a purchased course do not always have a calendar time immediately. When the lesson is released and booking is open, you book the first session with the teacher.
When booking is available
A class lesson becomes bookable when:
- the lesson is released on your Learning Path (not locked)
- the course's booking window has opened for that lesson
- you do not already have a pending booking request for it
- no live session is scheduled yet
Until then, the lesson may show as locked or not yet bookable.
How to send a booking request
- Open the enrollment timeline.
- Find the class lesson marked Available to book (or use Book lesson on Dashboard under Upcoming Lessons).
- Click Book lesson.
- Add a short message for your teacher.
- Suggest preferred time slots from the teacher's availability when the picker is shown.
- Click Send booking request.
Your teacher reviews the request and chooses the final date and time. Until they approve, the lesson shows Booking requested and does not yet appear on your calendar as scheduled.
Dashboard shortcut: Upcoming Lessons lists scheduled sessions first, then lessons available to book, then lessons with a pending booking request.
4. After the teacher approves
When your teacher approves the booking:
- the lesson gets a scheduled live session time
- the event appears on Schedule
- Upcoming Lessons on the Dashboard shows the confirmed session
- any homework or exercises attached under that class lesson follow the new session time
You can then join the live session from the Dashboard banner, Schedule, or a notification — the same as any other scheduled class lesson. See Schedule & Live Sessions.
5. Reschedule later (not the same as booking)
Booking is for choosing the first time slot for a class lesson that has no scheduled session yet.
Rescheduling is for moving a class lesson that already has a scheduled session.
| Action | When to use it | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Book lesson | Class lesson is released but has no scheduled time yet | Enrollment timeline, Dashboard Upcoming Lessons |
| Reschedule | Class lesson already has a scheduled 1:1 session you need to move | Schedule, Dashboard Lesson Starting Soon banner |
Rescheduling is available for individual (1:1) class lessons in Added or Started state. Group class lessons cannot be rescheduled through this flow.
See Schedule & Live Sessions → Request a reschedule.
6. Exercises, homework, and certificates
Marketplace courses are often hybrid:
- Exercise lessons — complete on your own; immediate feedback when auto-checked
- Homework — submit for teacher review
- Class lessons — live sessions you book and attend with the teacher
- Certificate steps — may unlock after you pass required lessons
Follow the order shown on your enrollment timeline. Some class lessons stay locked until you pass earlier steps.
7. Access period and refunds
Course listings include an access period (validity window). Your enrollment shows when access ends. When access expires you keep everything you have already done — completed lessons, results, and teacher feedback stay visible in your history. What stops is new work: you cannot open or submit further lessons, and you cannot book more class lessons. Renewing or buying the course again restores that.
There is no refund button in the app. The school that sold you the course handles refunds, so contact them directly — their details are shown with the purchase and on the listing. Whether a refund is possible depends on that school's listing terms and refund window.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my course in a school I did not join manually?
Marketplace course purchases create an enrollment in the seller school. You study with that school's teacher and follow that school's course copy. This is expected for live courses sold on the Marketplace.
Why can I book on locuto.pro but not on my school's branded domain?
Marketplace browsing and course purchases happen on the locuto.pro catalog. Sign in on locuto.pro and your dashboard shows everything you study, across every school. If you sign in on a school's own web address instead, you only see that school's lessons — so a course you bought from a different school will not be there.
I sent a booking request — what now?
Wait for your teacher to approve or decline. While pending, use Booking requested status as confirmation. If declined, you can send a new booking request when the lesson becomes bookable again.
Can I complete exercises before booking the live class?
Only if the Learning Path has already released those lessons. Sequential courses may keep later class lessons locked until earlier steps are passed.
